Last Few Years

I'm become a teacher when i reached 31 years old. I'm teaching language (Malay Language) in primary school. Teaching 10 and 11 years old children are not easy as I think before. Before, I'm teaching in secondary school as a temporary teacher.

2006, I started my career as a permanent teacher. Its really make me so worry. First handling small children really give me headache. Some of them are very active. Running, walking around, disturbing their friends really can raised my temperature.

At first I don't know how to teach them. Frankly speaking, I really dont have any interest to teach them. I need to teach writing and comprehension for year 4 and 5 students in a last class. Most of them dont know how to read. So, how can I teach them to write essay or answer the comprehension questions? The whole year I feel that I am a useless teacher. Unmotivated and stressful make me not interested in this teaching world at all. I tried to get help from the senior but.......... so dissappointed

One day, one letter was sent to my school. My school need to send a new posting teacher which major and teaching Malay Language for a course which held at Langkawi Island. Upset when you are not selected. Our school administrator choose my friend which teaching the subject but not major in that. I offered myself to go but it was rejected. After I met my headmaster and explain to him that I badly need to attend the course lastly I allowed to go.

At the course I gain so many knowledges, techniques and strategies how to teach my students. From
unmotivated teacher I become very motivated. I also offered myself to joint any course which related to what I teach.That the beginning how I polished my teaching skills with attending course after course.

Year 2008, I came out weather with my own techniques and strategies or modified from others. Thanks to Allah because my pupils writing skill developed well day after day. Their performance in exam also increased. From that moment I gained the trust from the parents. Most of them have a good relationship with me. I dont have any problem with them because I always communicate with them through phone and letter to inform about their children progree
